As a photographer I am interested in making the work of my soul more visible and real, enriching everyday lives. When my photography speaks in a quiet, perhaps even a silent voice, it wields great power and influence at both a conscious and unconscious level. As each photograph is viewed it is either liked or disliked depending on how the soul speaks. This is what makes the art of photography subjective. Photography is a universal language and its truths are accessible to all who view an image. My photography is merely a perception of what and how I see my subjects whether it is a beautiful bride or a memorable event. I want to share the vision with you through the artistic photographs I create. I am a self-taught photographer, although I do have some college credits towards photography and digital photography. I am constantly improving my skills to keep up with the latest techniques. For the past 26 years, I have had some form of camera in my hand. Photography, for me, is a way to express myself through my viewfinder.
